On this picture you see Khaerul, a boy we met on the street in Senggigi, where he sells souvenirs to tourists.
A funny, spontaneously and smart guy. He’s speaking English fluently, but due to a lack of money from his parents he never finished elementary school.
And there are so many children around Lombok, which, for various reasons, are unable to have proper education. This is unfortunate, education is a stepping stone to a better future, and it will give the people an opportunity to help other people on Lombok.
With Impian Anak we want to help children like Hamdun.
He is the first child in this project and “the face” of Impian Anak.
